Margaret Legg/Hall b. 1855MS lost her father when she was very young. Her older brother, Buck b. ~1852, loaded up the family and moved them to Texas. Her mother died 1867TX and they moved back to MS. Two years later, they moved back to Texas, in spite of family protests.
In 1873, Margaret C. Hall m. James T. Crawford in Burleson County, TX. James T. is my gggrandfather. He had a daughter named Rose Ella and another named Bessie. He and Margaret C. Hall had three sons.
I am searching for Ella's mother. Her maiden name is supposed to be LEGG. Her father's name is listed on Ella's funeral record as Hall=. He is supposed to have been born in MS.
