Have determined that Caroline Davis & Augustin Lunsford had a dau named Mattie Lunsford born abt 1857. Mattie married Allen Thrift in Coahoma Co. MS in 1875; they had Rosa & Joseph & were on 1880 census for Tunica Co. MS. After Allen's death, Mattie married Thomas Vance. Believe they were in KY, then she was in AR with her children later.

Re: Harriet Davis who married M. B. Smith in Coahoma Co. MS in 1856, have found them on 1860 census in Massac Co. IL with their son, Franklin Smith. On 1880 census, Harriet has remarried and is a widow, Harriet Busick, in Coahoma Co. MS, with her son Frank Smith. Next door is her dau Pauline (Smith) Mahon. Pauline lost her husband John Mahon and two children in 1889, then married Francis Marion Montroy.
