I have been attempting to locate the time and place of the death of my grandfather. His name was Jim (or James) Harris born 29 August 1882. According to his draft info he was registered in a community called Lombardy, Ms. Spouse name: Edith Harris and there were seven children. Primary occupation was sharecropping. They live on a plantation called the Burks
plantation which was near merigold, ms. Jim died sometimes between 1920 and 1924 but I have never been able to get a death certificate or any formation as to when and where he died. Additional information is available. Thanks.
I have found information about Jim existing family, wife and children, but none about his parent.
