Do you also know the Jones family of the Ailes/Aills House?
I have a Lucinda E Jones b abt 1820 and living in Copiah Co, MS in 1850. Parents Isaac and Ann.

Do you have anyone of these in your database? I cannot find Lucinda in another census or in Marriage databases for MS or LA. However, in 1872, a Lucinda Owens, a supposed relative, bought the Aills house in Copiah Co, and for over 100 yrs thereafter, it was known as the JONES House. I am trying to connect these house-buying Jones to the Aills. Lucinda's brother Isaac M, in the census above, married Martha Aills, of the Aills house.
So is this Lucinda the key? And is Isaac the reason she was "a relative?"
In Copiah Co/Hinds Co at the same time are other Jones: Charles and Roann, who is buried in the Aills Cemetery, with their family. Charles is a cousin of Elizabeth Jones, the Mother-in-law of the Zaccheus Aills who built the Aills House before the War. However, I cannot find a Lucinda in this family.

Is there by some chance a connection between Isaac and Charles? And which or who actually owned the Jones house.
