I am looking for any information on the Tysons of Copiah County....including those related to Levi Tyson and Mary and their children: William Henry, James Preston, George, Margaret, Thomas Benjamin, Robert, Lucas (died at ten), Ellen (died at nine), and Charles Coleman. Those that didn't stay in the area moved into LA.
I know they married into the families of Mathews (Matthews), McIntyre, Boyette, Boyte, Curry, Barber, Harrell, and Tillman. Hattie Barber Tyson was married to Charles Coleman and is buried in the Gallman Cemetery with three other Barbers (I assume her parents and brother).
