Southaven - CAROLYN CLARK BILLINGSLEY, 59, management employee with Fred's Dollar Store, died Monday, May 26, 2008 at her home. Mrs. Billingsley was born December 5, 1948 in Philadelphia, MS and was a Baptist. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 28 from 6-9 p.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven. Services will be Thursday, May 29 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Southaven. She is survived by two sons, Jamie Billingsley and his wife, Lisa of Southaven and John Billingsley and his wife, Treva of Southaven; parents, Adell and John Clark of Philadelphia; three sisters, Brenda Fortenberry of Philadelphia, Nell Stanley of Owensboro, KY and Kathy Whitehead of Belzoni, MS; four grandchildren, Jonathan, Taylor, Madisyn, and Kayla; and her best friend, Jim Billingsley.
Olive Branch - MICHAEL DAVID EVANS, 50, passed away May 23, 2008. He was a graduate of Mississippi State University School of Engineering and an avid Bulldog sports fan. He was a 28 year employee of Azo Inc., Memphis, TN, where he was an engineer and IT manager. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Claude G. Evans. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Renee' Evans; two sons, Michael David Evans, Jr. and Dustin Dwight Evans, both of Olive Branch. He also leaves his mother, Betty Evans of Nesbit; sister, Susan DeLille of Olive Branch, and brother, Chris Evans of Tupelo. Visitation will be Thursday, May 29 from 2-4 p.m. in the Family Life Center at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, followed by the service at 4 p.m. in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Community Cemetery.
