Olive Branch - DANIEL M. COLLINS, 75, passed away June 9, 2008 at Baptist Desoto Hospital. He was a retired conductor with the Illinois Central Railroad and a member of Gracewood Baptist Church where he was a member of the Challengers Sunday School class. Mr. Collins was a U. S. Navy Korean War veteran and a member of Hernando Mason ic Lodge #52, the Desoto Shrine Club and the Wahabi Shrine. He is survived by his wife, Irene D. Collins and children, Pam Trainum of Olive Branch and Danny Collins of Southaven and a grandson, Dalton Trainum and step-grandson, Travis Trainum. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, June 12, at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch with burial in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.


Olive Branch - NARLENE PRESCOTT RILEY passed peacefully at home June 9, 2008 in Olive Branch, MS. Mrs. Riley was born July 10, 1931 in Lauderdale County, TN. She was the eldest of 12 children of Clarence Thomas and Annie Lois Sanders Prescott. Mrs. Riley was a member of Forest Hill Church of Christ, and a retiree from the Kellogg’s Company. She is preceded in death by William H. Riley, her husband of 50 years. She was the loving mother of two sons, Johnny Riley of Olive Branch and Tom Riley of Coldwater, MS. She was also “Granny” to five grandchildren and one great-grandson. Services will be held Wednesday, June 10, at 2:30 p.m. Memorial Park Funeral Home in the Fireside Chapel. A visitation will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.


Southaven - LILLIANN GRACE WILLIAMSON, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2008. She is survived by her mother and father, Michelle Shannon and Robert Williamson; sisters, Zoe and Holly; and grandparents, William and Linda Griffin and Wesley Ann Williamson. She was surrounded by love her entire life. Memphis Funeral Home Germantown Parkway Chapel.


Olive Branch - KATHLEEN T. WILSON, 76, passed away June 10, 2008, at Baptist Desoto Hospital. Mrs. Wilson retired from Union Planters Bank and was a member of Gracewood Baptist Church. She waspreceded in death by her son, Jimmy Wilson. She is survivied by her daughter, Judy Huffman of Olive Branch, sister, Charlotte Wright of Jonesboro, AR, brothers, Archie Tyler, Jr. (Catherine) of Olive Branch, William Edward Tyler of Oxford, MS and Marion Tyler (Carolyn) of Water Valley, MS. She also leaves a special niece, Donna Mathews and her children, Shawn and Samantha and agreat-great-niece, Sara, who called her "Gran Gran". Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 12, at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch with burial in South Oxford Methodist Cemetery in Oxford, MS.
