Southaven - ARTHUR H. COREY, 87, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2008. Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 21 at Forest Hill South, with visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery. Mr. Corey served his country as a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army. In his early years he worked for Pace Corp. then Bluff City Electronics, where he retired. He was a Mason of the Oakville Lodge No. 599 and a long time member of the Normal Whitehaven No. 43 Eastern Star, a Ham Radio operator and a member of Graceland Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; Dwight and Vesta Corey and a brother, Wayne D. Corey. He leaves his wife of 65 years, Ruth Corey and a sister in-law, Mary Jean Corey, also several nieces, nephews and friends.
