HUBERT W. PEYTON, 78 of Memphis passed away June 26, 2008 at his home. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of Audubon Park Baptist Church. Hubert is survived by his wife of 54 years Betty Peyton, Children Larry and Debbie Peyton of Memphis; grandchildren Mary Elizabeth and Hemant Gupta and Thomas and Elizabeth Peyton; four sisters Louise Word of Southaven, Wilma Markle of Germantown, Hazel Moncrief of Olive Branch, Ruby Gray of Memphis and two brothers Elmer Peyton and Forrest Peyton both of Memphis. Visitation will be from 58 p.m. Tuesday, July 1 at Family Funeral Care. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 2 at 11 a.m. at Family Funeral Care with graveside services to follow at 1 p.m. at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
