Olive Branch - MAXINE BENNETT RAINES BOYCE65, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2008 in Olive Branch, MS. She was born January 6, 1943, was a Humes High Graduate, attended Rhodes College and was personnel director at Rhodes for ten years. Mrs. Boyce is survived by her wonderful, dedicated. loving husband, John E. Boyce and the smartest and sweetest dog in the whole world named Sweetheart, one great sister, Willodean Pinner and three fabulous brothers, William Ward Bennett, Walter Donald Bennett and Billy Bennett. She was preceded in death by her father, William Ward Bennett, her mother, Mary Maude Bennett, a brother Lewis Bennett and first husband of 20 years, William Charles Raines. Visitation will be Monday, July 7 from 5 P.M.-7 P.M. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home on Whitten Road in Memphis. Services will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 8 at 2 P.M. with burial to follow in Forest Hill Cemetery East.
