Olive Branch - HENRY H. HOLT, 84, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2009. He was an active member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church for 19 years, where he served as deacon. Mr. Holt, the husband of Sarah Holt, also leaves a daughter and son in law, Pat and Kenny Arwood; a son and daughter in law, Henry H. and Linda Holt III, all of Chattanooga, TN; a brother and sister in law, George and Sue Holt of Tupelo, MS; three grandsons, Charlie and Hunter Holt and Alex Arwood, all of Chattanooga and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Adams. The family will receive friends this evening, Saturday, May 16, from 5-7 p.m. at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, May 17, at the funeral home. Another service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, May 18, at Spring Hill Baptist Church in Oakland, MS with interment to follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Senatobia - IONE HESTER WATTS, 90, passed away Friday, May 15, 2009 at Senatobia Rehab. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. at Parkway Cemetery in Kosciusko. Visitation will begin at 12 noon on Friday at Culpepper Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Mrs. Watts, a native of Kosciusko and a retired school teacher was survived by her stepson, Reece Watts (Judy), two grand-children, five great-grandchildren; and three nieces, Mary Owen, Sara Crouch, Barbara Cain. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Watts.
