J. C. Jones

I know this is a long shot, but I’m looking for any information whatsoever about a Mr. And Mrs. J. C. Jones who would have been born probably before 1900. Mr. Jones was the first principal in 1922-1923 at the newly constituted Dixie Consolidated School a few miles south of Hattiesburg in Forrest Co., MS. Mrs. Jones is named as a teacher at the school that first year. Both were also instrumental in and charter members of the Dixie Baptist Church which began in 1922. That is absolutely all I know about the Joneses, except that they were not listed in the 1920 federal census for Forrest County, MS. Any clues will be welcome for an in-progress history of the Dixie community.
