I am helping co-worker find her great-grandfathers ancestry. He is 93, African American and very interested . All he can remember is that his father John Taylor's mother was Patsy Galloway of Hattiesburg, Ms.
John Taylor married Laura Butler, ca 1907, and died ca 1919.
Patsy Galloway is found on the 1910 census of Hattiesburg, a cook, age 48, widow, with son Luther, age 16.
On the 1930 census of Hattiesburg Patsy, a midwife, now 68, is living with son Luther, sister Emma Wright, age 70 and niece Josephine Flemming, age 8.
Any help much appreciated,
