Looking for ancestors of William A. Mitchell. William lived in Ragland, Forrest Co., MS around 1908. I believe his parents were Sanderville V. Mitchell and Jane E. Blakeley, who married in 1866; I don't know where either was born or lived after marriage.
William is brother of my son's G-Grandmother Lillian Mitchell Lee. After the death of her first husband, Lillian married Ollie [or Oliver?] Stewart of Hattiesburg; some time later, they too moved to Ragland. This community may now be extinct; it was in the vicinity of Camp Shelby.
