John Samuel SCOTT, b.23 July 1845, SC and his 3rd wife, Ada Frances "Fanny" BURNHAM, b. May 1867, AL were m. 25 July 1889, Alco, Brewton, Escambia Co., AL.

A recently found obituary notice indicates that Sam SCOTT died on 29 Jan 1900 in Mississippi, but the town was not mentioned.

However, a 1900 Federal census for Perry [now Forrest] Co. MS, shows Fanny Scott, 33 year old widow; hotel keeper; with her four children; two brothers and 10 boarders living in Hattiesburg. The four children were:Minnie C.; Samuel C.; Mathew D. and Nannie B. Scott.

I would love to hear from any descendants of this family.
Many thanks.
