I have just found on the Hinds Co, MS genweb, Mrs. Betsy Palmer marrying William Morehouse, 28 June 1836 in Hinds Co, MS. This is the Elizabeth Morehouse on the 1850 Census of Perry Co, MS who is the mother of Elizabeth Palmer. Elizabeth Palmer married David W. Shattles of Brooklyn, Forrest Co,MS who was my grgreat grandfather.

Has anyone found either Elizabeth's (Betsy's)maiden name or which Palmer she married before marrying William Morehouse?
