This is a long shot but I am at one of those 'brick walls' I hear so much about. Looking for information to connect Sarah Davis b.1803 in SC {some say GA} and d. abt 1879 in Marion Co MS. She married John Anderson and lived in Perry Co. MS. for all their married years. John died in Perry Co. MS. but Sarah is listed as died in Marion Co. The county lines split and redrawn so many times during these years that this researcher feel Sarah and John most likely died in the same place where they lived {Perry Co.} but because of the map changes, she is stated as died in Marion, instead of Perry County. Sarah Davis is the daughter of James Davis and Elizabeth Daughdrill who came to Mississippi from NC, to SC, to GA, to AL and finally settled in Perry Co. MS. I need to prove that Sarah is the daughter of James Davis and that this Sarah is the same person married to John Anderson.
