I am searching for the maiden name of Mary E (Mollie) Thomas born in Alabama in 1858 and died in Hattiesburg Mississippi in 1933. She was married to John E. Thomas, also born in Alabama in 1853 and died in Forrest County, Ms in 1916. The couple had 3 known children:Arnold Lester Thomas who married Mamie Lewis, Onnie Thomas who married Virgil A Dennis in about 1905, and Daisy Platt who married Burton A. Platt. All of these people were residing in Forrest County Ms in the 1910 census, the 1920 census and the 1930 census. I can find none of them in the 1900 Census. I think John E & Mary E Thomas were in Jasper County in the 1980 census but had no children. Mollie Thomas raised my father, Travis Monroe Dennis and his younger brother, Thomas Virgil Dennis, after the death of their parents, Virgil Dennis & Onnie Dennis in 1917 & 1918.
