Does anyone have access to the marriage records there in Franklin Co.? I find a marriage record for a James T. Lavil and Sarah Emmons on 20 Feb.1820. One researcher said it was James T. Savell, another said it was a James T. Wells. I wonder if anyone can look at the real document, (not the copied info from a book), and tell me who the real groom was as best you can tell. Is it WELLS, LAVIL, or SAVILL????? Thank you so much! hartclan@peoplepc.com
