Searching for the Greene County father of
John Hosea Mitchell
Henry Allen Mitchell (Methodist Preacher)
Josephine Mitchell (from folklore "Josie")
2nd daughter Mitchell

Fathers name from two different folklores was Wiliam Allen Mitchell or George W. Mitchell.
He was married first to (maybe) Mayme Thomas or Mary Freeman then to unknown second wife. He was probably b ABT 1827, d ABT 1878. Had a plantation, part was rocky. Any help or hints appreciated. - John.
