Would love to know from what Neelys, Neely, Ms. got its name.

My grandfather George Neely born 1880 was from Mississippi. He and his brother John moved from somewhere in Miss to Morehouse Parish and lived on the Bonne Idee Bayou. He married Eula Smith born 9-24-1888 and they had six children. Would like to know his siblings and parents. Is he related to Col. George W. Neely from Ill. that fought in the Vicksburg, Ms., battle? Any help appreciated
