Descendants of Peter McLeod (1775-1850)

Peter McLeod was born in Scotland in 1775. he moved to Richmond County, NC and married Sarah McCaskill in 1802.

Sarah and Peter had a number of children, including Roderick (oral family history tells me Roderick was nicknamed "Rearor" or "Rearer"). Roderick lived from 1805 to 1886.

Peter died in 1850, in Greene County. Sarah died around 1855, also in Greene County.

Any information on Peter and Sarah (parents, confirmed birth / death dates, etc.) and their descendants would be very much appreciated.
