I am looking for information on Littleberry Applewhite Jackson b about 1862 in Alabama who married a Hughes. Her name was apparently Amanda Caroline Hughes, but I am not 100% certain of this. Their children were:
Rosa Lee Jackson b September 06, 1883 (my great-grandmother)
She married Robert Hosea Ray
John William Jackson (called Buck) b November 21, 1877
William Lunsford Jackson b January 18, 1884 He married
Julia Evelyn Smith
Julius A. Jackson b November 07, 1887
Arthur Linwood Jackson b November 02, 1888 He married
Minnie Childs and then Emma Beatrice Collins
Other children are said to be Dennis, Eula May, James, Mary Mazell, and Sukie.

There is said to be a Smith connection with Littleberry's wife. Her father was said to be a Hughes and her mother a Smith.
