Lady who befriended me: on leave from USS PRINCETON in 1950s

In mid-late 1950s, while on Navy Leave from the Princeton,
I met and became friends with a lady who befriended me by
hauling me all over Laurel for 3 weeks or so. I returned
to the ship unexpectedly, and did not get address info so
I could write to her.

We met at her mom's, who lived near Laurel, MS, and on a
graveled road, perhaps toward Ellisville. She and young
son lived with her mom. Young son would stand and drive
her car at times when away from traffic.

We also met at my b-i-l's Fats Harvison's home.

Hopefully, if she sees this, she might recall a name or
something and get in touch with me.

I went to USM immediately after my discharge from Navy, and
after a year, went to Millsaps College in Jackson. I could
not recall how she got to her moms. If you could see my
pic of her, you would understand where my eyes were fixed!
She was a beautiful brunette with nice eyebrows and a small
somewhat pointed chin. My b-i-l makes a habit of recalling
names! But, we both forgot her name.

With the scent of Spring in the air, I am wondering about
her again, as I have done in the past at times.

I fully expect that she married and has children. No problem. We were just good friends. I want to see her
again and thank her for being so nice to me then. I was
on a Kitty cruise (out by 21st birthday) when we met. I
guess I was 18 or so then. She may be in her 60s today.

THANKS.
