Researching the family of Walter Warren VARNER; b. 21 Sept.,1873 in MS and d. abt. 1959 in Jackson, Hinds, MS. His wife was Armanda/Arviline "mandy" WHITEHEAD; they were married 26 Jan., 1893 in Madison Co., MS. Children were: Annie Varner (mar. W.M.Herring), Mary Varner (mar. S. Courtney) and Walter Warren Varner, Jr. (mar. ?). Walter's parents were: Ebesus Varner- b. abt. 1830 in Rowan/Randolph co., NC ....and.... M. A. ___?___- b. abt. 1830 in NC. A know brother of Walter's was a J. E. Varner, b. 1868 in MS. I also believe that a sister was Sarah Jane Varner, b. abt. 1850 in MS. If you have any further info. on these families, i would appreciate the contact. Haven't found brother J.E. Varner, yet, and would like to know the maiden name for Walter's mother. Thanks so much!
