Prosser of 350 There doesn't seem to be a connection in Holmes County. There was not an Abel family in the county until after 1860. I checked the Holmes County Cemetery records and John F. Abel was not listed there. On the 1860 Census there were Abel families in Franklin, Jefferson and Madison Counties. I have found sometimes that my 1860 Index might have missing census information.
