Looking for information on David R. Beaty (Beatty, Beattie) from Holmes County, Ms, later Wilkinson County, Ms. that enlisted in Capt. D. J. Red's Reds Rebels Company during the Civil War and served as as Sergeant. Listed in 1850 Holmes County census with mother, 3 sisters, and 3 brothers including brother Samuel who is also listed as serving in Capt. Applewhite's Vaiden Guards during the Civil War. Anyone with any information that can possibly help me out, please email me personally at cheyenne_143@msn.com. I would appreciate any and all help as David is my ggg grandfather and I have been researching information on him since 1994.
