George Tackett born 1780 Stafford Co. VA. He was in TN in 1808 when his son Phillip was born. The family was in Lawrence Co Ala and some of the children married there. Records show that George Tackett is buried at Richland Cemetery, in Holmes Co. GA. We have no death date for him. Some say his wife was Elizabeth Nicholson. She was born abt 1782 SC. She is also buried in Richland Cemetery there. We need to know if there are tombstones and the dates on them. Three of their sons were Doctors and one was a Judge in Holmes Co. Any information will be appreciated.cbh.
