Brenda, I am sure that you know that Humphreys County was not formed until 1917. I am looking for a Weems name and I have the same problem as you. Humphreys County was formed from Holmes, Washington, Sunflower, Leflore, and Yazoo Counties. If you come across a Nancy Bates in your research, please let me know. I have lived in Humphreys County all my life and all the names you have in your subject line are very familiar to me. Melba mhal@i-55.com
