Mrs. L. M. Grady, lifetime resident of Itawamba County, died at the Tupelo Hospital on Oct. 17, 1956. She had been sick for several months and her death was due to an accumulation of fluid on her lungs. She was 73. Funeral services were held Oct. 19 from the Shady Valley Church of Christ, east of Tremont with burial in the Shady Valley Cemetery.
Survivors included her husband, L. M. Grady of Tremont; two sons, Jake Grady of Anniston, Ala., and Max Grady of Tremont; two daughters, Mrs. Beulah Harrell of Tremont and Mrs. W. M. Greer of Anniston; three brothers, Dr. N. R. Weaver of Mooreville, John Weaver and Earnest Weaver of Fulton; five sisters, Mrs. C. D. Holley of Memphis, Mre. L. L. Reed of Tupelo, Mrs. Nettie Pitts of Tremont, Mrs. J. L. Whitesides of Ft. Campbell, Ky., and Mrs. Maw Hale.
