Services for John M. Wilemon, retired farmer of the Ratliff Community, were held Oct. 22, 1956 at the Oak Grove Methodist Church with burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Mr. Wilemon was 92. He died at the Caldwell Memorial Hospital. He was born in Prentiss County, but had lived most of his life in Itawamba County.
Survivors included three daughters, Mrs. R. H. Barber of Baldwyn, Miss Willie Wilemon a teacher in the Centerville Grammar School, and Mrs. Helen Hinds of Ratliff; and a son, P. G. Wilemon of East Tupelo.
