Services for Mrs. Thera Thompson, a resident of West Point for three years, were held Oct. 21, 1956 at the First Presbyterian Church at Aberdeen. She was born in Itawamba County and was a Presbyterian. She was admitted to the hospital 23 days before.
Survivors included a daughter, Mrs. J. H. Parker of West Point; a sister, Mrs. Gena Webb of Columbus; a brother, Ollie Williams of Hatley; a grandson and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were: J. B. Hood, Buck Smith, Claude Easter, Joe Easter, Floyd Hale and Buford Easter.
