Funeral services for Jesse Holley Prestage were held May 2, 1948 at the Fulton Baptist Church with interment in the Fulton Cemetery. He was 25 years old. He had been an invalid since a youth. Hawkins Funeral Home of Fulton was in charge.
Survivors included his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Grover C. Prestage of Fulton; one sister, Mrs. G. W. Thompson of Fulton; two brothers, Noonan Prestage and Ervin Prestage, also of Fulton.
His cousins were pallbearers: Gaddis Prestage, Hollis Prestage, Wiygul Prestage, Bryce Prestage, Price Prestage and Roy Prestage.
