Ballardsville - Dorothy Sue Kingsley Smith, 70, died July 24, 2008, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. A lifelong resident of the Ballardsville community, she was born May 21, 1938, to Cecil and Verna Franks Justice. She worked in garment factories most of her life. She was a member of the Ballardsville Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing.
Graveside services were July 25 at the Dorsey Memorial Cemetery with McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge.
Survivors included two sons, Donald Kingsley and Eddie Kingsley, both of Mooreville; one daughter, Karen Kingsley of Ballardsville; one brother, Charles Justice of Ballardsville; five grandchildren, Heather Kingsley Elliott, John Kingsley, Ben Kingsley, Betsy Kingsley and J.J. Kelly; one great-grandson, Collin Elliott.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Kingsley, and her parents.
