Mrs. Sallie Fancher, age 80, died at her home near Nettleton on May 10, 1948 of a heart attack. Services were held at New Chapel Church on May 11 with Pickle Funeral Directors in charge.

Survivors included five sons, C. F. Fancher, A. F. Fancher, J. R. Fancher, William Fancher and J. B. Fancher, all of Nettleton; three daughters, Mrs. Clyde Riley and Mrs. J. F. Morris of Nettleton, and Mrs. Shellie Roebuck of Heath, Ark.; one sister, Mrs. Fannie Springer of Belden; and a host of grandchildren.
