Funeral services for Mrs. S. F. Kilpatrick, mother of several prominent Fulton citizens, were held Jan. 14, 1957 from the Carrollton Methodist Church. She was 85 years old. She had lived at Carrollton, Ala., all of her life and was making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Clara Owings at the time of her death. She had been sick for several years with a heart ailment. Death came Jan. 12th. Burial was in the Carrollton Cemetery with Stabler Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors included her children, M. H. Kilpatrick, Sr., W. L. Kilpatrick, Sr., and S. W. Kilpatrick, Sr. One child preceded her in death, Clara Owings. Mrs. G. C. Pratt, also of Fulton, was a niece.
