Looking for descendants of James H. Davis and his wife Nancy LNU who died in Jackson CO, MS sometime after 1880. They began in GA, lived in Henry CO, AL from 1820s until just before 1850 when they moved to MS. Their three oldest children were born in AL. I have no idea why they moved to MS and left their parents and siblings behind unless James and wife had some other familial connection to MS. James' children's names mirror his brother William F Davis's children's names.

James H Davis is the oldest son of Joseph and Mary Davis of NC, Joseph born abt 1774. James H Davis has 7 siblings who remained in Henry CO, AL and I have most of their family trees done.
