James Davis married Elizabeth Daughdrill in Bertie Co NC. They later moved thru Georgia and finally into Mississippi territory. It is noted that they first settled 'in the upper Pascagoula' area. I do not know where exactly this might refer to; however, they do appear in Greene Co MS census and they later appear in Perry Co where it is said they lived and died. I think that James and Elizabeth are the parents of a daughter SARAH born 1803 GA, married John Anderson and lived in Perry Co MS.
