William M MONTGOMERY b @1810 MS, and Sarah Ann FOREMAN b@1820 MS were married in Jefferson Co MS on 19 Dec 1836.
In the 1850 census, they are still in Jefferson Co MS, with children:
M.J. (Martha June) age 12
John age 10
Mary age 8
William age 6
George age 2
By the 1860 census, Sarah is remarried to Henry SUMMERS/SOMERS, in TX, with son George Montgomery (age 12) as well as 3 children (not sure if all are by Henry SUMMERS):
Angeline Hotchkiss age 6
Henry B. age 3
Breckenridge age 1
Sarah and Wm MONTGOMERY's oldest daughter, Martha June (b@1837 MS) has married John BOWERS on 16 Feb 1854 in Galveston TX.
I believe William MONTGOMERY is the son of Josiah MONTGOMERY and Mary ERWIN of Jefferson Co MS.
I would appreciate any information about this family, and any corrections to my posted information.
