Seeking information on Benjamin Dorsey Beavins b. abt 1811 in Maryland. Married Katherine Fletcher then Addie Curtis. He was a wealthy planter who owned a large plantation with 84 slaves in Jefferson County in 1860 in the Churchill District on 1860 census. He may have also lived in the Rodney area. I want to know when he moved to the area and what happened to him. He had two daughters, Kate and Maria, whose mother was Kate Fletcher.
