Researching the Turner Family in Jefferson County. Lucy a slave woman lived on a plantation 8 miles from Rodney, Ms. The plantation owner's name we believe was John Griffith. She had five sons: Young (1847), Zack (1848), Calvin (1856), Oscar (1859, William Thronton (1862). Young Turner eventually moved to Lebanon, Illinois. If you have any information about this family we would appreciate any help.
