Heirs of Arthur Carney who d. @1802 on Bayou Pierre were listed as Marian (aka Maria) and Elizabeth Carney-guardians for the children were John Cummings & Nancy Ann Breshears. I have never found any data on Marian(Maria) and will appreciate hearing from anyone who might solve this mystery for me. Data on Elizabeth Louisiana Carney has been found i.e., she married Joseph Nichols (Nicholls) of Jefferson Co. but I have been unsuccessful in tracing descendants of Eizabeth/Joseph and help would be appreciated in this are also.
