Hi Sue, Thanks for replying to my post. There is a possibility that if Sarah Puckett married a Love, she may be from a collateral line. I have no record of James S. Love's parents or siblings, and she would be the right age to have married one of his siblings. If I understood your description correctly, Sarah Shaw (the sister of Mary Shaw Puckett)resided with Mary at the time of the 1860 census. Sarah Shaw was likely married to more than one husband: Jacob Anderson, David Kline, and an unknown Love--all of whom are presumably deceased by 1860. Because my James S. Love married and died (1825-1829) between censuses, it's hard to locate info on him, although I have his marriage date but nothing on his family. I do have another Sarah in my family line, but she married first William Arledge and second Frederick Bailey. It will probably take a search on site of Jefferson County records to determine where Sarah Love's husband came from and where my James S. Love came from. They likely are related by marriage.
