James Davis left Roscrea and sailed to New York from Cobh, Co. Cork on 6th June 1901 to join his older brother, Louis? who lived in Brooklyn, New York. His mother Mary and sister Sarah joined him from Newtown Roscrea on 22nd September 1914 following the death of Mary's three sons in the years 1912-1914. James address in 1914 was 187 Valley Road, West orange, New York. I would be grateful to hear from any member of the above-mentioned Davis extended family
