I am seeking information of descendants of William M Garner and wife Isabella Georgia Patterson Garner of Jefferson Davis County. Isabella was the daughter of George W. Patterson and Isabella R. Hathorn(daughter of Nevin Clowney Hathorn).
G.W. Patterson was a member of the 27th Reg. Miss. Infantry(Co. F). He died December 25, 1867 and is buried in the old Patterson-Garner-Loflin cemetery just east of Prentiss. It is deep in the woods near the airport. William and Georgia Garner had several children, including; George, Sam Hiram, William Jr, Pattie, Ruth, Eva and Nevin Hathorn Garner.
If anyone can help me contact the family, please let me know how. The Sons of Confederate Veteranss are planning a new marker for GW Patterson and we'd love to have descendants attend the ceremony.
