Searching for information about Littleberry Parker (aka Lewis B. Parker, for reasons unknown) b. 1798, N.C., d. after July, 1890. Possibly son of John Parker. Possibly brother (twin?) of Jonathan D. Parker, b. 1798, N.C. Littleberry m. Mary ?, b. 1802 MS. They had a large family and moved frequently with other Parkers. 1820 census Wayne Co., MS, Littleberry has 3 boys under 10 yrs. 1830 census Jones Co., MS, L.B. has 9 children, 6 boys, 3 girls. 1840 census Jasper Co., MS, L.B.A. has 12 children, 7 boys, 5 girls. 1850 census Washington Co., AL., Lewis B. has 5 children still at home. 1860 census Washington Co., AL., Little B., Sr., has one boy still at home. Mary (keeping house) is now much younger woman than wife Mary in previous years. 1868 homestead application, Jones Co., MS 1870 census Jones Co., MS, Littleberry A., 72 yrs., Mary 45 yrs. 1890 homestead application, Marion Co., MS, states L.B.A. has abandoned homestead in Jones Co. 1892 widow Mary reapplies for Marion Co. homestead 1894 Mary deceased Known children (as listed on census records): Elizabeth b. 1829 m. Was he a twin? 5. His death date and burial site. 6. Date of death for first wife Mary and burial site. 7. Why was he known as Lewis B. for a time? I would appreciate any help anyone can give.
