Again, I must point out that I personally do not have any
proof at all that another dau. of Katie McNeil exists. I
should have followed up on that before saying anything that
I got from the Net. Nor do I have any idea why Katie, whom we loved and adored, or any woman, would put out a dau. for adoption except under duress and very dire circumstances. I only know of 3 daughters who are listed in
the Book w/Katie's pic: "Jasper Co., Mississippi Cemeteries 1833-1998."
So, whether this claim is correct is not for me to
say. The principals are deceased and apparently no one lives today who can resolve this satisfactorily, if any
one desires a resolution.
