Mark, I thought I should have pursued the info from the Net
before trying to locate Katie's family to let them know, as
I assumed they did not know what was claimed by Pam (she
was Margaret Renee (no maiden name) according to what I was
told).
I have not the slightest inkling at this very moment if the
claim is true or not, and it is not for me to determine as
I did not know who her children (3) were until my bro. sent
me the Cemetery book w/her pic in front. The Carneys were
seeking a copy of the pic, and thus, got in touch with me
as the book was out of print. They could have gotten in
touch w/Laurel Library and gotten it. I sent them a scanned copy of the pic in the book.
Without thinking, I have rung the bell, as attys like to
say when they say something openly for Jury ears knowing it will be objected to and be sustained...but the atty still achieved his intended result in that the 'bell had been rung' and there is no way to unring the bell. In this sense, I should not have spelled out what I was seeking the daughters for, when I had no reason to think it was a true assertion. I still do not know anything.
