I'm seeking information on Berry Smith and wife Nancy who are on the 1850 Jones Co census. Berry was born in Ga in 1805 and died after 1860 in Jones Co and is reportedly buried in the Green Cem in Sharon. I've been to the cemetary and it is too overgrown for access.
I beleive Nancy is Berry's second wife due to her age and the age of Berry's first son Eason on the 1850 census. Berry and family are also on the 1840 and 1860 census. Nancy and children are on the 1870 and 1880 census.
My connection is through their daughter Rachel who was the second wife of William Harrison Bush.
Any information as to Berry's parents and Nancy's maiden name or parents will be appreciated.
