Cornelius was bn. in 1816 in NC. County unknown. He marr. Hannah Ellerbe, bn. 1818 in Kerchaw, S.C., on Feb. 1939 in Marlboro Co., S.C. Their children were Joseph(b.1840-S.C.), John(b.1843-S.C.), Alexander(b.1847-S.C., Celia(b.1851-S.C.), Thomas(b.1853-S.C.), and James(b.1858-Kemper Co.,MS). The children from S.C. were born in Chesterfield Co. In the 1850 census from Robeson Co., N.C., they are shown next to a Sarah Nicholson, age54 with her children, Ann, Daniel, and Effie. There is a Mary Nicholson, sister to Neill, living with Neill and fam. I cannot find any info about Neill's parents or other siblings. They moved to Kemper Co., MS. in the mid 1850's. If anyone has anything about Neill and his family, I would appreciate any help.
